The past few years Victoria and I haven’t felt particularly festive during the holidays. Usually we’re too stressed out, concerned about travel plans, boarding the pets and what the weather is going to be like. This year, things seem to be a little different. A week ago I decided to put on some holiday music as I wrapped this year’s presents. Victoria disappeared to the basement (I assumed to do laundry) and reemerged with this, our tiny little Charlie Brown tree. It’s a simple little “plug-in and go” affair, but it suits us just fine. We’ve had it up all week and plugged in pretty much whenever anyone is home. It’s not even two feet tall, but it does seem festive and has been bringing us both a lot of joy.
Thanks to everyone who has visited and supported the blog in one way or another this year. I truly appreciate it and am grateful for your support. Happy holidays to you all!

The Pres says the tree is great, only maybe too big!
You’re tree is beautiful and perfect–I think I’m going to get one like that! Plug and go, what’s not to love?
Your picture makes the tree look bigger than it is, I think. It makes me happy
