After spending a few days chasing deer on my Dad’s farm, Dad and I piled in the car and headed north to Durham, NC for my cousin Ashley’s wedding. Lockhart weddings are always a good time, and this one didn’t disappoint.
An odd sight at a rest stop on our way to Raleigh/Durham. I’m not certain, but it seemed these people were drying their wet clothing as they drove down the highway.
The out of town Lockhart’s crashed (sort of) the rehearsal dinner, which was a nice way to get to know Tray’s family and to catch up with my cousins.
With the wedding not scheduled until Saturday night, the out-of-towners spent some time exploring the area, including the North Carolina State History museum.
The wedding ceremony and reception were held at the science museum in Durham, which was a really cool venue.
The ceremony took place in their butterfly room with friends and family wrapping around the happy couple.
The reception was held out on the patio of the museum. It was a bit chilly, but we warmed up quickly once we all started dancing.

Three of the five Lockhart clan. I’m not sure how I missed my Aunt Vicky who was also in attendance
.
I had a fantastic time seeing everyone and acting silly on the dance floor. It’s hard to beat good times spent with your family.

Beautiful pics, beautiful family
What great pictures! It was nice to have a description to the one with the underwear on the car- I couldn’t figure out what it was the first time I saw it. What a strange sight! And I agree- it is hard to beat a good time spent with family. Can’t wait til Thanksgiving!
Great pics and I especially like the one of you too!
